This month I had the opportunity to put together a training on SMART Goals. I had about 90 people attend two different sessions. There were a number of things that went really well including:
-My room set up aided in the delivery of the training.
-My technology was right on, with no problems.
-I had music before the session, during a break out, and again at the end.
-I had great class interaction.
-Candy sure helps get people to participate.
-I was very prepared for each session.
One other thing that really helps me be successful is the Feedback Sessions. When I have other presenters attend, I always solicit their thoughts for improvement and ways to make the session better. I made adjustments after the first session in preparation for the next session and it made a world of difference.
Closing thought for today. Seek out honest, candid, and construtive feedback. Feedback is the lifeblood of growth.
